How to Buy Smarter Wholesale Items And Use Automated Bid Sniper Technology Simultaneously
There's a lot of talk in Power Seller
circles about how to make money on eBay using wholesale lists. But much
of what you've heard probably isn't as honest as it sounds.
Let me give you the low-down on wholesale lists, plus introduce you to a powerful new auction technology that will help you buy hot products right before the end - even if you're not at your computer! I have a wholesale list that I sell in information technology but I don't sell as many copies on eBay as I do on other Web sites. Through an arrangement agreement I sell a lot of high tech equipment through another eBay user, who I've contracted with, who uses my wholesale contacts. But what I sell on a wholesale list is great resource contacts that you can use to get really the best pricing on computer related equipment. So I do sell a wholesale list but, warning, I definitely put up a flag for this. It's very important for you to understand that most $1 to $19 wholesale list are a complete and total waste of your money because you are actually being recruited to sell other peoples items. First, let's move away from wholesale lists and let's talk about something that I think is very important for anyone who's buying products online. There's a technology out there called sniping. For those of you who aren't familiar with sniping, sniping is powerful. You can buy sniping software right off of eBay and save yourself a lot of time and a lot of headaches when it comes to buying. I can't stand it when I have to sit and watch an open auction and wait for a product to close or come close to ending to make a bid on it.
That's how I buy my products. If I buy a product and that product is a product that is in demand I set a price that I want to pay for it and through the sniping software I'm able to buy that product and compete against other bidders while I'm not there. Its amazing - you can actually set a bid on a product and say you want to pay a particular price for that product and right before the auction ends you can program the software to put the bid in for you. What are the benefits of that? Well, number one, once you install the software and the bid software is in place, you don't have to be there to put the bid in. You don't even have to be there; the software puts the bid in for you. Second, you can set a price threshold or lets call it a ceiling on the price that you want to pay for the product so that if someone pays more for the product you know that through the programming of the software, which is very easy to learn, you know that you're not going to pay more for the product than a specific dollar amount that you set. So it's a win twofold and ultimately you save a lot of time. You just save a lot of time and I think that's a huge plus. For those of you who are not familiar with sniping software just go onto eBay or you can go onto any auction site for that matter and actually look up the word sniping. Sniping software runs anywhere from $10 to $20. I think for people who want to optimize buying it truly is the best way to get good pricing and optimize pricing on products and services that you buy.
