How to Remove Skin Tags - Cost-Free Remedies

Many of those affected have been popping the question on how to remove skin tags. After all, they are very ugly, disastrous, and annoying! How much more when they prefer to thrive on those exposed parts of the body? Sure enough, the more that you will feel irritated. They often settle on the face and arms and on other places where the friction from the clothing is created, making them extremely annoying and even painful.

A skin tag is one type of soft skin growth that measures about 1.3 cm. It is an excess piece of skin which appears to be either rounded or flat. It is hence affixed to the skin by what is known as the peduncle. It appears a bit darker than the actual skin and looks like a little flap sticking out.

Now the concern on how to remove skin tags can be addressed by two methods. First is that of consulting a skin doctor or dermatologist for that matter. The only problem is that it may cost you quite a bit. Just think about the series of tests and medicines that need to be administered. Are you prepared for this?

Thankfully, there are some effective home remedies to solve your problem with skin tags. Here are some of them:

Use a thread or dental floss coupled with nail clippers or scissors plus peroxide or any antibacterial medicine. With the thread or floss, you can wrap it around the skin tag until it falls off. If you are brave enough, you can use clippers to clip it off and either way, you'll want to have peroxide or other antibacterial substance around to make sure the area does not get infected.

Another thing you could try is to dry up the affected area using baking soda and Castor oil. Apply the solution for about three times in a day.

Furthermore, prior to executing any of the above mentioned procedures on how to remove skin tags, you want to first be certain that is indeed a skin tag that you are about to get rid of or else you will have to face the consequences.
